A longstanding and highly popular tradition at Melton’s,
the First Saturday Lunches are themed four course meals for only £26 per person. They are very popular and booking is necessary (01904 634341).
Monthly Monday Meal - due to the success of the First Saturday Lunches, we repeat the theme on the following Monday evening.
We also include wine with the meal for only £33 per person.
April - Provence
Saturday 5th and Monday 7th
Looking towards warmer climates. Enjoy one of the great daubes of France; red wine scented with orange and served with deeply flavoured black olives.

May - Spring Shoots
Saturday 3rd and Monday 5th
Here are the first fruits (well shoots really) of the year. We are
deliberately avoiding really early spring Lamb, which is usually
less flavoursome than older Hoggart.
• Nettle Soup
• Poached Egg on Wild Garlic Crouton with Chives
• Roast Hoggart (lamb) with a Herb Crust
• Elderflower Fritters with Vanilla Ice-Cream
